Details
Steel structured buildings have a life expectancy rating that is about 4 times longer than a conventional wood barn. The steel structure that DLS uses is fabricated with A-36 structural steel with all wide flange beams being dual certified grade 50. Compared to conventional wooden barns, the steel structured frame allows it to better withstand wind and snow. DLS has developed a system that allows them to safely, efficiently and effectively erect the pre-engineered steel frames. Every steel frame is supported by 20′ purlins made out of MSR grade southern yellow pine.
